Steven Tyler
The band toured Boston's club circuit , being advised by Frank Connelly their first manager. The band then began to collaborate together with Steve Leber, David Krebs, New York managers. They signed a record deal in 1972 and released their debut album entitled "Eponymous" in 1973. The album was immediately followed by Get Your Wings and Toys in the Attic and Rocks. The album brought Aerosmith worldwide fame and recognition. These albums produced legendary hits like "Dream on", "Walk This Way" and "Sweet Emotion". Aerosmith's initial five albums have also been multi-platinum and Toys in the Attic and Rocks are widely regarded as one of the top hard rock albums of all time. As time went on however, the group's hectic lifestyle of playing, recording and staying together was beginning to wear the band down. Tyler and Perry were sometimes referred to as the Toxic Twins, for their notorious consumption of stimulants and heroin. Aerosmith Behind the Music has many videos that show their relationship. Tyler was more devoted to Aerosmith and resent Perry for his indifferent attitude. Perry, on the other hand, was envious of Tyler's priority of women throughout his life. Aerosmith's steady decline is likely because of the tension between Tyler and Perry as well as their once-friendly friendships.
