Maria Bartiromo - the American television journalist and broadcaster who was among the first broadcaster to stream live from the New York Stock Exchange - is known for several popular shows that have been extremely successful. Over the course of her twenty-year career in the field of journalism, Maria Bartiromo had a significant role in the establishment of the television channel CNBC to become one of the tops in business and economic reportage. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn (born Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn) is an American actress who is active in both film, television as well as theater. She's been a professional actor for over 27 years. The first time she appeared on the stage as a character in a production in 1990 of The Big Funk (John Patrick Shanley) Off-Broadway. In The Perfect Tribute, she had her debut TV role a year later. Her breakthrough in her career came about in 1992, as she played a supporting role in the movie Basic Instinct. It was in the movie The Firm however that she was chosen as the female lead for the very first time and that too opposite famous actors such as Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. Through the 90s Gwyneth worked together with Hugh Grant on Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews for Relative Values. She played the role of Dr. Alex Blake on the well-known international crime drama Criminal Minds.
